I'm Ahmet Yavuz, founder and CEO of Furniture Marketing Pros, but my journey didn't begin in an office or behind a laptop. It started on the warehouse floor, in delivery trucks, and on the sales floor of a small furniture store in Carteret, NJ.
In 2019, I started my journey in the furniture industry, and like many new business owners, I built my career from the ground up—literally. My first job? Delivering furniture. From there, I moved into sales on the showroom floor, managing ads, and even building a website for the store where I worked. Those hands-on experiences gave me a deep understanding of the challenges furniture businesses face, from generating leads to converting showroom visits into sales.
With my background in software engineering and a passion for problem-solving, I became fascinated by how digital marketing could transform furniture businesses. I started experimenting with SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and website optimization, applying these strategies in real-world settings. The results were clear—more traffic, more leads, and more sales. That's when I realized I had the tools to help furniture businesses grow, and Furniture Marketing Pros was born.
When I'm not running Furniture Marketing Pros, you'll find me in Montclair, NJ, spending time with my wife, Gulfem, and our cat, Pumpkin—who firmly believes that every sofa is a personal scratching post, no matter how high-end it is.
